Privacy Policy
Effective October 14, 2026
This policy explains how Alphabits ("we", "us") handles information in the Alphabits app and on getalphabits.com.
The short version
There are no accounts. Your sessions, check-ins, and progress stay on your device. The app can send anonymous usage signals so we can learn what is working, and you can turn them off.
What stays on your device
Your session history, streaks, milestones, check-in ratings, custom tracks, saved items, settings, and a cache of your purchase status are stored on your device. We do not receive them.
Anonymous usage data
Unless you turn it off, Alphabits sends anonymous usage signals to our analytics provider, TelemetryDeck. These describe what happens in the app, such as which paths and session lengths are used, whether a session was finished, and which screens are opened. They include the app version, device model, language and region, and a random install ID that is not linked to your name, email, Apple ID, or advertising ID.
The signals do not include your name, email, health data, precise location, advertising identifiers, or what you type. Turn them off any time in Profile, under Share anonymous usage.
Apple Health
Alphabits does not currently read from or write to Apple Health. If we add that, the app will ask your permission first and we will update this policy before it ships.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details.
Notifications
Reminders and the sleep wake alarm are scheduled on your device. They do not send data to us.
Website
getalphabits.com does not use accounts, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics. It is delivered through Cloudflare, which may process technical data such as your IP address to serve and protect the site. If you email us, we receive your email address and message so we can reply.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers needed to run Alphabits (Apple for purchases, TelemetryDeck for anonymous analytics, Cloudflare for hosting), when the law requires it, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business. We do not sell personal information.
Your choices
Delete the app to remove its data from your device. Turn off anonymous usage sharing in Profile. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold. Email us and we will help.
Children
Alphabits is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will post updates here and change the effective date above.
